Are you sick and tired of that old Shower Curtain in your Bathroom? Are you looking for a way to enhance the look and feel of your wash space, while at the same time adding a significant value to your home? If you said yes to either question, than you are in need of a Glass Shower Door.
Shower Glass Doors have become the absolute must have for today’s contemporary homeowner. And leading the way in this modern revolution of Glass in the Wash Room is the Frameless Shower. Whether you have a Bathtub or a Shower Stall. A Glass Enclosure can be made to fit virtually any space configuration and style imaginable. The most common options when speaking of a Bathtub are either resting the Glass Panel on top of it or placing it at its side. Or if you want an entire Shower space Enclosed in Glass with its own Door. Either way the design possibilities are truly endless with the only foreseeable limitations in sight would be the budget, the skill level of the installation team commissioned for the project and then finally the imagination.
The most commonly used Glass is Clear Tempered Glass. Tempered Glass Panels can be Custom Etched with any drawing or design. Another option is a high end one known as Cast Glass. It's made with a Custom Mold in the Fire Kiln. Then there’s Laminated Glass that can only be installed in a Framed Shower unit. The reason being is that water will find its way in to the Laminate only to later cause a Mold build up. Just like in that old, dingy Shower Curtain! Nevertheless when properly installed in a Framed Shower unit, Laminated Glass will be 100% Mold free. Plus you can have it designed with a Custom Etch, or even Laminated with a transparent design on a plastic or paper sheet.
These different categories of Glass are the three types available for Glass Shower units. And each one comes with a multitude of options for the design, color and texture. Your only problem now is deciding on the many options before you. Good luck!
