Aluminum containers are really the best choice for wax moulds and this is in spite of the fact that they get quite hot. If you were to use glasses as moulds, you could get some designs on or paper cups should do as well for a simple shape.

You can buy these oils easily at the store and you have a choice of floral ones or the more heavy or fresh citrus ones. Put the mould in the freezer after you have added the color, fragrance and the wick so that the candle can be taken out easily.
